In Memoriam

The Friends of Walkden Gardens receive many requests for Memorials such as trees and benches following the death of a loved one. Whilst we greatly appreciate the sentiments behind these requests it is with the deepest respect, that we have to say that we can no longer at this time consider trees, benches or other memorials in Walkden Gardens. The small size and the layout of the gardens mean we have reached capacity for such memorials. We do however have a memorial fund, which makes our work in the gardens possible and we do invite you to consider making a donation to this should you wish to mark the loss of a loved one. Any memorial donations will be marked by a Commemorative Certificate . Thank you for your understanding.
