Many thanks to the Sage volunteers and Sue for all their hard work!
Walkden Gardens have been awarded a Green Flag for 2017/18. The Gardens have held this prestigious award for several years.
This is due, in no small measure, to the work of the Friends Group volunteers.
We are pleased to announced that, at the Sale Lions Father's Day event in Worthington Park, the Friends of Walkden Gardens were awarded a grant of £1,500 towards the cost of the proposed labyrinth in the Gardens.
Many thanks to all those who voted for our project.
Sue Hirst, on behalf of the Friends Group, received the cheque from the Mayor and Mayoress of Trafford.
